Bourjois City Radiance Foundation - Review

Yes, this is what nearly every single blogger owns and raves about right now; It's the City Radiance foundation!

Here I was debating with myself about whether or not I really needed another foudation to add to my make up collection. Finally, I decided that people are praising it way too much for me to not try it. So I went to Boots, I bought it and I don't regret a thing.

Now I understand why everyone is obsessed with it. It really is radiating and makes my skin look so healthy and glowy. I find that during the summer I don't like to wear a really heavy foundation because I just don't feel good while wearing it in really hot conditions. I guess it's because I get so hot and I find that heavy foundations really don't look good at the end of a really hot day.

So what does this foundation actually do? Well, first of all I love the light coverage it has. However, don't think that a light coverage foundation will not be enough coverage. The coverage is actually pretty good. Not to mention that the most important thing is that it makes your skin look super healthy and awake which I find is a winner in any foundation. Sometimes I get a bit worried about glowy and foundations full of radicance as I get a bit worried that it will make my face look oily as I have combination skin. Luckily, this foundation does not do that at all it looks absolutely perfect but remember everyone's skin is different and you won't know unless you try!

Stripes In Spring

Hi everyone! Yes, today's post is going to be an outfit post which I enjoyed doing so much! I want to start doing more outfit posts as right now they are my favourite things to do. I love stripes, but I especially love stripes during the spring/sunmer time. I don't know why but stripes just look amazing when the sun is shining.

In this outfit I decided to wear a black and white striped top and I paired that with a nice black skirt with buttons at the front (which was featured in my previous clothing haul). I then threw on a chunky cardigan as with the British weather you can never be too safe. Of course I had to throw on some tights because there is no way that you can walk around Britain right now with bare legs. If you do then you must be crazy or incredible brave, I'm not sure which one. I finished off the look with a pair of black wedges with gold studs and my new favourite sunglasses!

I wanted this look to be extremely affordable for everyone so I used pieces from shops which are very well priced and affordable.

Top: Primark
Skirt: Quiz
Cardigan: Primark
Sunglasses: Forever 21
Shoes: Unfortunately these were bought at some random shop so I am not sure where these were bought.

March Favourites

Hi everyone! I can't believe It's already April, it feels like I was doing my February favourites just yesterday. Happy April Fool's day, and here are a couple of things that I've been loving in March :)

Hair
This month I have been loving these 3 hair products. The first one is the Batiste Dry Shampoo and this is the XXL Volume. This dry shampoo is one of the only things that really gives my hair volume and makes it last a long time. I have very fine hair and it's hard to get any volume in it but this dry shampoo really does a good job so I strongly recommenced this if you also have fine hair. The next two things are the Toni&Guy Shampoo and Conditioner for fine hair. Again, this has been putting a lot more volume into my hair and I don't feel like my hair is constantly flat. They also smell amazing and make my hair feel extremely soft and healthy.

Make-up
There are two make-up products that I've been loving in March and that is the Bourjois City Radiance Foundation and the Nars Laguna bronzer. The City Radiance foundation is still very new to me as I did buy it at the end of March but I absolutely love it, I won't talk about it too much as I have a review coming up very soon. The seconds product is the Nars Laguna Bronzer, now you may have already heard of this bronzer loads of times as it is a very popular bronzer. I myself have been wanting to buy this bronzer for so long and finally I did and I'm very happy with it.

Random
Here are two random things that I've enjoyed in march. The first one is the Soap & Glory Hand Food. This is an amazing hand cream that I've been using constantly throughout last month. It smells and feels amazing.
The next thing is actually a purse, this is a purse from Bessie which I have recently purchased and it is now my favourite purse. If you have never heard of the brand Bessie then here is a link to their Instagram so you can go and have a look.

That is it! I have a few exciting posts coming up soon (a lot of outfit posts) so I'm really looking forward to that and I hope you all enjoy them :)

Fashion Show Outfit

Hi everyone! So about a week ago I went to a fashion show which was absolutely amazing and I really enjoyed it. It was a small fashion show in my area and I had an absolute blast. I thought it'd be fun to show you the outfit that I wore, also these pieces have featured in my Clothing Haul post and I thought it would be good for you guys to see how some of the items looked when they're put on.

This is the outfit that I wore to the show:

The black top is from Zara. I love tops which have a collar and I especially love this one as it is a leather collar and that makes the top a little bit more interesting.

The skort I wore is from Miss Selfridge, I've been looking for the perfects skort for a while now and I finally found one that I really like. I'm so happy with this purchase and I'm so glad I finally found one that I love.

I hope you enjoyed this post and hopefully if you wanted to see what these items from my Clothing Haul then I hope this helped. I also paired this outfit with a pair of faux fur-top wedges from select, I think this would also look lovely with a pair of ankle boots.

Make-Up Haul

Okay so firstly I want to start off by saying a quick apology. I know I promised that this post would be up by Tuesday. However, I've been incredibly busy with school and exams so I'm really sorry that this post is late. Now that I'm away from school for about 2 weeks I have more time to work on my posts :)
So here are a few things that I've recently purchased and absolutely love! Some of these things you might recognise from my February Favourites post as these are some of my favourite things I bought throughout February/March.

Nars Laguna Bronzer
Now this could possibly be my favourite product in this whole haul. I am absolutely in love with this bronzer, it's definitely my favourite bronzer as of yet. It's so good for either bronzing or contouring. I use it for contouring practically all the time and the results are unbelievable so I highly recommenced this.
Price: £28.00

Maybelline Lipstick
Shade: Velvet Beige
This is such a gorgeous shade of nude lipstick, it's quite to describe it's fairly pinkish but with a hint of brown. Overall it's just a really nice shade and unlike many nude lipsticks it does not wash out your skin tone, which a lot of nude lipsticks can do.
Price: £7.99

Kiko Smart Eye Pencil
Shade: 813
As you can see this is just an eye pencil, however the colour is gorgeous. This sort of shade of blue eye pencil is perfect for spring/summer on the bottom lash line (obviously can also put on top). I can't wait to wear this now that it is spring and this will look super nice in the sun and it's super cheap!
Price: Roughly £3.00

Kiko Ultimate pen eye liner
Yes, another Kiko product, recently I've been loving Kiko as a brand in general and I plan on trying a lot more of their products this year as the quality of all their products is amazing and at such a good price. This really is one of my favourite eye-liners that I have tried it's so easy and quick to use.

Estee Lauder Lucidity Powder
There isn't much to say about this powder apart from, it;s amazing. As you can see I've already used quite a bit of it. It looks great when you put it on and since I have quite oily skin this really stops my face from shining so I definitely recommend this.
Price: £26.50

Mac Vanilla pigment
I'm not going to go on about how great it this is. However, I will say that if you are using this as a highlighter like I do, then it is quite a strong highlight, so if you prefer a much lighter highlight then I don't think this is for you.
Price: £16.00

MAC Lipstick
Shade: Flamingo
This lipstick is an amazing light pink shade and is perfect for a spring make-up look so I will definitely be using that a lot more now in the spring ad summer time.
Price: £15.50

Rimmel London Lipstick
Shade: Heather Shimmer
It's another lipstick! This is one of my favourite lipsticks at the moment and the colour is so hard to describe. It's quite dark but not too dark, it's almost like a light berry shade...but not really. I'm basically the worst at describing lipstick shades.
Price: £4.99

So that''s it! I hope you liked the post and again I'm sorry for missing Tuesday's post :) <3

Lazy Day Outfit

Hi everyone! So today I decided that I really want to do an outfit post and I thought it would be nice to do a bit of a lazy outfit for this post. I think this outfit is perfect if you don't really want to put in too much effort into your look. However, although this outfit is so effortless it still manages to look fairly stylish.

As you can see, I opted for this incredibely soft, grey sweatshirt and when I say soft...I mean soft. This is literally one of the softest things I have in my wardrobe and I love it! I decided to pair that with a pair of simple white jeans which have become so popular that you are able to get ahold of them almost anywhere. I decided to finish the outfit off with these amazing shoes (which I don't even know the name of) which look great for either a lazy day or just a day out as they are super comfy. If you want you can also throw on a leather jacket, or any coat/jacket of your choice. :) ❤️

White Jeans: H&M
