Lazy Day Outfit

Hi everyone! So today I decided that I really want to do an outfit post and I thought it would be nice to do a bit of a lazy outfit for this post. I think this outfit is perfect if you don't really want to put in too much effort into your look. However, although this outfit is so effortless it still manages to look fairly stylish.

As you can see, I opted for this incredibely soft, grey sweatshirt and when I say soft...I mean soft. This is literally one of the softest things I have in my wardrobe and I love it! I decided to pair that with a pair of simple white jeans which have become so popular that you are able to get ahold of them almost anywhere. I decided to finish the outfit off with these amazing shoes (which I don't even know the name of) which look great for either a lazy day or just a day out as they are super comfy. If you want you can also throw on a leather jacket, or any coat/jacket of your choice. :) ❤️

Notting Hill and Portobello Market

To me London is an incredible city which I always enjoy going to and although there are so many places which are gorgeous and really captures London's beauty, one place that always stands out to me is Notting Hill. Wether it's the gorgeous, white Victorian Townhouses or all the boutiques or even places like Holland Park, there is no doubt that Notting Hill is one of London's most wonderful places.

When I Went to London on Saturday with my mum and my auntie I couldn't pass up an opportunity to visit the amazing Portobello Market. All the stalls full of vintage jewellery, fashion and so much more definitely caused me to spend way too much money than necessary.

Notting Hill is definitely a place that I hope to live in one day and enjoy many of their boutiques and cafes.

Unfortunately I was not able to take many photos due to lack of time although I want to share with you some of the photos I did manage to take.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter

This post is long overdue because I went to Harry Potter World a couple of months ago now but I took some amazing photos that I wanted to share on here. I am a huge Harry Potter fan and I have been since I was a young child so it was amazing to see all the props and the set in real life. Genuinely my favourite books and films ever.I think for any Harry Potter fan going to this place is truly magnificent.

Bronzer or Contour?

So a lot of people always ask, what is the difference between Bronzer and Contour? They do look pretty similar and this leads many people to think that they are pretty much the same thing. However, there are in fact many differences between the two and in this blog post I will tell you everything you need to know about bronzer and contour.

Bronzer

Okay so lets start with bronzer.
Bronzer is a product which is created to give you a sun-kissed look when applied to the face, it is designed to look quite natural and give off the impression that you have a healthy bronzed glow to your skin after sunning on the beach when in reality you've just worked some magic with a brush.

When buying a bronzer you should first consider weather you would like a matte or a shimmery bronzer. It's okay for a bronzer to have a touch of shimmer although too much is never good as it can make your face look quite muddy and caked in make up. Which nobody wants. When choosing the correct shade of bronzer for your skinyou need to consider the colour of your skin. If you have very pale/fair skin then you don't want to chose a bronzer too dark as this won't look natural and will not give that amazing sun kissed look that bronzer is intended to give you. Therefore it is a good idea to go for a lighter shade of bronzer. If your skin is darker then you can allow yourself to chose a darker shade. It may take some time to find a shade that you're happy with,

When actually applying bronzer you want to lightly dust the product onto the parts of your face which would naturally be hit by the sun. For example; the bridge of your nose, your hairline, you temples and your cheekbones.

Some of my favourite bronzers include the Too faced Chocolate soleil bronzer, this is a complete matte bronzer. I also really love the No7 Perfectly Bronzed Dual Bronzer and this one has got a touch of shimmer although it is very subtle.

Contour

Contour is perfect if you want to add a lot more definition to your face. Now it is important that your contour powder has absolutely no shimmer at all as this will not define your features but instead it will highlight that area instead up make it look defined. Do you want to make your jawline look sharper and defined? Then contour is your answer. If you want to make your nose look slimmer then again contour is your answer. If you would like to create a deeper shadow in the hollows of your cheekbones then contour will to that for you.

When applying a contour powder make sure that your foundation is already set with a powder as this will stop the contour powder from sticking to the skin which would make it difficult to blend ,

One of my favourite contouring powders is the Sleek Face Contour kit which also includes a highlighter. Also the Nars Laguna Bronzer is great for contouring.

I hope this has helped anyone who was maybe struggling with the concept of contouring and bronzing. I would also like to apologize for the lack of photos in this post. However I know I haven't posted in ages due to exams and I felt like I needed to post something right away but the lighting is really bad for taking photos right now as I'm writing this during the evening :)
