London Trip - The Shard

So this is a post that some of you requested on Instagram and I thought it would be a good idea as I've blogged about London before and really enjoyed sharing all the photos with all of you.

If you follow me on Instagram you'll know that while I was in London I visited the Shard, which if you didn't know is a huge skyscraper in the City of London. It consists of 95 storeys and it is the UK's highest viewing gallery. The Shard also has a 5-star hotel and a restaurant. If you want to find out more then I will leave a link to The Shard's website at the end of the post and here are some of the photos that I took whilst I was there.

White In The Summer

I love wearing white in the summer and I don't know why, I think it just looks amazing in the sun and with a bit of a tan. The colour white itself is one of my favourite colours to wear. Often the white gives off a fairly classy look. Here is an outfit I put together with my current favourite white top at the moment!

One of the reasons why I love this top is not only becase it looks great but it is so comfortable and soft. It's perfect for those days where it's not too hot but not cold either. I paired it with these leggins which are ripped at the sides and a white scarf.

Top: Rock Bottom
Leggins: Topshop
Scarf: Rock Bottom
Sunglasses: Forever 21

Thanks for reading and I hope you're all having a great summer so far :)

Jumpsuits and Floral Patterns

On July 22nd it was my mum's birthday and in the evening we all went out and celebrated. The outfit I decided to wear was this floral jumpsuit. This is perfect for summer evenings out as floral pattern are always in during the summer. Not to mention it looks really flattering and classy! The place where I got my jumpsuit from is not widely available so I tried my best to find alternatives and I will leave the links to the shops/websites where you can get similar ones and other nice floral jumpsuits.

The shoes I wore were a pair of black sandals from Select,

What's in my summer makeup bag?

Today's post is going to be one that I have been looking forward to doing for quite some time now. I will be showing you what I carry in my summer makeup bag. The things I carry in my makeup bag in the summer and the things I carry in my makeup bag in the winter are quite different so I thought I would do another one of these even though I did a 'What's in my makeup bag' before. So this is an updated version and I hope you enjoy.

So the first things in my makeup bag are my primer, foundation and concealer. I almost always use my smashbox primer however since I have this MAC sample, I prefer to carry this one around as it is a lot smaller. The foundation I carry is the Bourjous City Radiance foundation. I always used yo use the MAC Studio Fix and I still love that foundation however in the summer when it's really hot I prefer to use a more lightweight foundation and I find it stays on longer in the heat without looking patchy. The concealer I use is the Yves Saint Laurent Touhe Éclat, I use this because it doesn't crease in the heat and it makes my undereyes look more awake and bright.

The next and probably the most important thing that I carry in my makeup bag is my powder. I can never leave the house without my powder it is literally a lifesaver, the powder that I use is the MAC Studio Fix.

The next things in my makeup bag are my blushes. The two I carry in my makeup bag are the No7 in the shade Soft Damson which is very natural. The other one I carry is Topshop's Afternoon Tea and this one is a lot more pigmented and bright.

The next things in my makeup bag are my bronzers and my highlight. The two bronzers I carry are the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil and the Nars Laguna. Chocolate Soleil is a lot darker than the Laguna so I use the Laguna only if I want a very natural bronzed look. The highlighter I use is MAC Vanilla Pigment and this is perfect for summer if you want a shimmering highlight.

My favourite eyeshadow palette is the Naked 2 palette. However there is no way that I will carry that around with me! So instead I carry the Sephora VIP palette and I always use the top 4 shades.

The next things in my makeuo bag are my liners and mascara. I always carry two liners. One is a pen and one is a pencil. The Pen I use is the Kiko Ultimate Pen eyeliner and the pencil is the BarryM Kohl Pencil. The mascara I use is the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara.

Finally, the last things that are in my makeup bag are lipsticks and lip liners. I always have the lipstick which I am currently wearing in my makeup bag. However I also always carry 3 staple lipsticks which I almost always have on me.
Maybelline in the shade Velvet Beige
MAC in the shade Velvet Teddy
MAC in the shade Whirl
The lipliners I often carry in my makeup bag are:
MAC Spice
Maybelline Velvet Beige

And that's it! That is all the contents of my makeup bag. I hope you enjoyed this post and it gave you some ideas on what to carry in your makeup bag ❤️

Revlon Colorstay Nail Varnish

Hi everyone! I need to start this post by apologising for not posting since the beginning of May. This was due to the fact that I had so many exams and simply did not have time to blog because blogging definitely takes up a lot more time than people realise. However, my exams are all finished and I am officially done with High School. This means that I will have a whole summer of amazing post for you guys which hopefully you will enjoy. I will probably go back to posting every Tuesday and Friday as well as perhaps a few extra days. Today's post is a very short post but I promise there is so much more coming this summer.

Anyway, for today's post I decided I wanted to talk about what is probably my favourite nail varnish right now. This is the Revlon Colorstay in the shade 240 Amethyst. As you can see it's a gorgeous deep purple shade. What I really love about this colour is that it's very different to any other purple nail varnish I have tried. It definitely has a shine to it and very faint sparkles and this adds so much to the already beautiful shade. Not only is the colour amazing but the nail varnish itself is very fast drying and long lasting, not to mention incredibly pigmented. So, if you are looking for a nail varnish which is fast drying and long lasting then I highly recommend you try the Revlon Colorstay; they have so many shades to choose from.

My Favourite Bloggers

This time every month I would normally be doing a monthly favourites post.  However, this month there hasn't been that many products that I have been really enjoying. So, instead of doing a monthly favourites I'm going to be sharing with you some of my favourite bloggers. These bloggers are the blogs I have been reading the most in the past month or two because I think all these girls have an incredible talent when it comes to blogging and I think they're all going to make it big in the blogging world and I want to say good luck to all of them!

I am absolutely in love with Katie's blog; all the pictures she takes are so beautiful. One of the main things I love about Katie's blog is that she has such a great variety of different posts. You can find posts about beauty, reviews, photography and even recipes. She started her blog back in 2014 and it's crazy how much her posts have improved in the last 2 years. I would strongly recommend for you to have a look at Katie's blog, you won't regret it!

From the moment I first clicked on the blog I knew I was going to love it. The posts are amazing and so helpful when looking for information on make up products. I literally have no words to describe how amazing this blog really is. Her make up/beauty posts are my favourite because she shares her opinions on certain products and personally I find that really helpful and I think some of you might too.

Bourjois City Radiance Foundation - Review

Yes, this is what nearly every single blogger owns and raves about right now; It's the City Radiance foundation!

Here I was debating with myself about whether or not I really needed another foudation to add to my make up collection. Finally, I decided that people are praising it way too much for me to not try it. So I went to Boots, I bought it and I don't regret a thing.

Now I understand why everyone is obsessed with it. It really is radiating and makes my skin look so healthy and glowy. I find that during the summer I don't like to wear a really heavy foundation because I just don't feel good while wearing it in really hot conditions. I guess it's because I get so hot and I find that heavy foundations really don't look good at the end of a really hot day.

So what does this foundation actually do? Well, first of all I love the light coverage it has. However, don't think that a light coverage foundation will not be enough coverage. The coverage is actually pretty good. Not to mention that the most important thing is that it makes your skin look super healthy and awake which I find is a winner in any foundation. Sometimes I get a bit worried about glowy and foundations full of radicance as I get a bit worried that it will make my face look oily as I have combination skin. Luckily, this foundation does not do that at all it looks absolutely perfect but remember everyone's skin is different and you won't know unless you try!
